INDIANAPOLIS — Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears has launched the Good Faith Initiative to assist noncustodial parents, who have had their driver’s license suspended by the State due to delinquent child support obligations, an opportunity to have their license reinstated. Through December 23, 2019, the Good Faith Initiative will allow noncustodial parents to have their driver’s licenses reinstated in exchange for making an affordable payment towards their child support obligation and updating their employment information.
To participate in the program and set up the agreement, a parent can call the Good Faith Hotline (317) 327-2700 or e-mail CSGoodFaith@indy.gov. The participant must agree to pay an affordable payment of child support order, update their employment information (if applicable) and commit to paying the agreed upon amount towards their child support obligation. Participants must then notify the Prosecutor’s Office once the payment has been made. After the completion of these terms, the parent’s license will be reinstated.
