INDIANAPOLIS — An Artists Gathering in Irvington will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 5295 E. Pleasant Run Pkwy., South Dr. About 20 artists will have their work out on display.
The gathering is a unique annual event that allows a collective of artisans in a wide range of disciplines. Julie Gausvik’s cloth art dolls are highly collectible and unique pieces. Michelle Fife has a selection of long needle pine baskets. Michelle Plummer’s teddy bears are great for gift-giving.
Ardath Stroble’s Christmas floral arrangements are a tradition in many east side homes. Alan Reinhardt makes beautiful ceramic tiles and sculpture that many people with vintage homes love to feature. Dee Banta’s watercolors and arrangements are sought-after items on many people’s lists.
New this year is chocolatier Jeannine Mecca with handcrafted artisan truffles and other treats. Annie Roof’s cookies and cookie kit will go fast, so get there early!
