INDIANAPOLIS — A YMCA instructor-guided back-to-back sessions of sell-out crowds through mindful yoga techniques and poses will be accompanied by the eerie musical stylings of a local musician. Hundreds of “yogi’s” fill the historic space for calming and unique class experience.
This year, three yoga instructors will lead three beautifully choreographed sessions followed by a guided tour of the catacombs led by City Market staff. Spots filled up in just one week last year, so get your tickets for the Oct. 26 event as soon as possible.
The cost for the one-hour yoga session and 20-minute historical tour of the City Market catacombs is $30. There will be three sessions: 5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Register at IndYMCA.org/yoga-catacombs.
Yoga in the Catacombs raises funds for the YMCA at the City Market‘s Annual Campaign, which provides scholarships for Y memberships and programs, keeping the Y accessible to all, regardless of income or financial circumstances. $22 out of every $30 ticket sold will go back to the Y’s Annual Campaign.
