IRVINGTON — Learn how to investigate the history of your home with free sources at a workshop and tour on Saturday, June 15. Learn the history of Irvington homes from two of Irvington’s premier historian/story tellers: Paul Diebold and Bill Gulde during a two-hour tour. The tour begins at the Bona Thompson, 5350 E. University Ave., at 10 a.m., breaks for lunch at Ixca, an Irvington Mexican restaurant, and returns to the Bona on an alternate route. The total walking distance will be about 2 miles round trip. Please be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes as our sidewalks are also vintage.
