INDIANAPOLIS — Visitors to White River State Park (WRSP) will now have another fun amenity to utilize during their next visit, as the park rolls out its newest amenity enhancement, “Hammock Time.” White River State Park is located at 801 West Washington St. and comprises 250 acres of green spaces as well as several family-friendly attractions such the Indianapolis Zoo, the Indiana State Museum, and the Eiteljorg Museum.
“Hammock Time” is a fun opportunity for visitors to rent a hammock and enjoy a relaxing visit to the park. Hammocks can be rented for a time period of up to four hours and placed in a number of designated areas throughout the park. These designated areas have been strategically selected to ensure optimal safety for users and as well as preservation of the integrity of the park’s trees.
Hammocks must be rented and returned to the White River State Park Visitor Center during regular business hours: Mon.Sat. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
