INDIANAPOLIS — The annual Woodruff Place Flea Market will be held Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This marks the 41st hear for the flea market, when people from all over Central Indiana converge on the historic neighborhood looking for bargains. Approximately 200 neighbors participate in the flea market, and part of the proceeds go to support the neighborhood association’s efforts to maintain the unique fountains and other features of the neighborhood. Woodruff Place is located between 10th St. and Michigan and west of Hamilton St. on the east side.
Food trucks and adult beverages will be available in the neighborhood. Parking is always at a premium the days of the flea market; please park behind Woodruff Place Baptist Church south of Michigan St. or at Harshman School just west of the neighborhood. Consider carpooling or ride-sharing services to avoid the headaches of parking.
