INDIANAPOLIS — Superheroes will be taking over the 2019 Indiana State Fair. The Fair theme this year, “Heroes in the Heartland,” presented by Indiana Donor Network, salutes Hoosier farmers, first responders, educators, members of the Armed Forces and many others who keep us safe and make us proud. And now, fairgoers can visit a new experience, the Super City: Where Heroes Unite! exhibit, open daily, to hang out with their favorite MARVEL and DC Comics Super Heroes.
Guests can meet and get a photo with their favorite Super Hero at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily throughout the fair, August 2 -18. Super Hero “Meet & Greets” are free and will last 90 minutes. Scheduled appearances include Marvel favorites like Black Panther ( Aug. 3), Iron Man (Aug. 4), Captain America (Aug. 5), as well as DC Comics superheroes Superman (Aug. 12), Wonder Woman (Aug. 15), and Batman (Aug. 18).
