INDIANAPOLIS — On April 4, Indianapolis Motor Speedway historian and storyteller extraordinaire Donald Davidson returns to Indiana Landmarks Center for an entertaining evening of racing insights as he chats with retired driver and former team owner Sarah Fisher.
Known for his radio program The Talk of Gasoline Alley, Davidson entertains fans by balancing humor and encyclopedic insider knowledge in story-like responses to questions. Fisher will add unique insights to the conversation, drawing from her experience having more Indianapolis 500 starts than any other woman. A former IndyCar team owner who also was the youngest woman ever to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 at age 19, Fisher now runs Speedway Indoor Karting track with her husband, Andy O’Gara. The couple recently purchased and began renovating Whiteland Raceway Park, believed to be the oldest consecutively operated kart track in America.
Davidson and Fisher will chat onstage in the Grand Hall at Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis.
