INDIANAPOLIS -Join the Buck Creek Players as they continue their 45th season of quality theater with Making God Laugh, an Indianapolis premiere play by Sean Grennan. Showing at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue, for a limited two-weekend run, March 29th through April 7th, curtain times are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays.
Come share the holidays with Ruthie, Bill, and the kids. Thirty years of holidays, that is. You’ll laugh, tear up and shudder: sometimes at the “festive” recipes, sometimes at the fashion choices you’ll never admit you also made. Through it all, Ruthie (Gloria Bray) and Bill (Tom Riddle) try to keep the home fires burning as the paths of their three adult children — a priest (Ben Jones), an aspiring actress (Jenni White) and a smooth-talking entrepreneur (Matt Spurlock) — twist and turn. As Woody Allen once said, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.”
Admission is $18 for adults and $16 for children, students, and senior citizens (ages 62 and up). Reservations are recommended, and may be reserved securely online with no added fees at www.buckcreekplayers.com, or by calling the automated reservation line at 317-862-2270. Group discounts are also available for parties of ten or more when purchased online in a single transaction.
