INDIANAPOLIS — Due to popular demand, Indiana Repertory Theatre is extending the run of Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” through March 31. Written by award-winning children’s author Mo Willems, this musical helps introduce kids to the theatre experience through some of their favorite book characters.
The show is a rollicking celebration of friendship and fun in a colorful musical for children 3 to 8 years old and their families. With their backup trio the Squirrelles, Gerald and Piggie sing, dance and laugh their way through a day where anything can happen. Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” contains strobe lights, and the approximate run time is 75 minutes, including pre- and post-show activities.
