INDIANAPOLIS – Mayor Joe Hogsett, in partnership with the Office of Sustainability, continues the chilly tradition of the 8th annual Polar Bear Pedal on Sat., Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. at the YMCA at City Market. Mayor Hogsett invites cyclists to join him on the approximate 10-mile ride through the heart of Indianapolis.
This year’s route will specifically include the Old Southside neighborhood, targeted by Mayor Hogsett and the City of Indianapolis to received community development investment as a part of the Lift Indy program.
Participants can register for the event at https://tinyurl.com/y9kmd7py. Registration and check in begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the event. The ride will begin at 9 a.m. The first 200 participants to register will receive a free T-shirt. Participants must be present the day of the event to claim their shirts. Shirts will also be available for purchase at the event.
