IRVINGTON — The Benton House Tour of Homes will be held on Sun., Sept. 16 from noon- 5 p.m. This is the 45th Anniversary of the tour, making it one of the oldest home tours in Indianapolis. The theme of this year’s tour is “Old Retold,” and the stops on the tour have a long and storied past.
In addition to the home tour, visitors can appreciate the Classy Car Show, sponsored by Grove Japanese Imports. Anyone with a classy car is invited to be part of the event, with cars arriving at 11:30 a.m. and awards given out at 4 p.m. There is a $5 registration fee. There will be ten stops on the tour, and include the Benton House, and the Bona Thompson Memorial Center. Tickets are $12 in advance online on Eventbrite (and also at participating retailers, soon to be announced). Tickets may be purchased the day of the tour from any of the homes for $15 per person.
