IRVINGTON — Dulcimer Celebration! will be held Sat., August 25 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Irvington Public Library and the Irvington Presbyterian Church. This event is part of the Irvington Summer Concert Series and is sponsored by the Central Indiana Folk Music & Mountain Dulcimer Society and the Irvington Community Council.
The Dulcimer Celebration! begins at the Irvington Public Library at 10 a.m.with a lecture on the history of the dulcimer and workshops by mountain dulcimer instructors Tull Glazener and Molly McCormack and hammered dulcimer instructor Ted Yoder, along with other members of the Central Indiana Folk Music & Mountain Dulcimer Society. The workshops are followed by a concert at 6 p.m. at the Irvington Presbyterian Church by Tull Glazener, Molly McCormack and Ted Yoder.
