Sisters Paige Wells (left) and Julia Wells reign over the 88th Marion County Fair this week as Queen and Princess, respectively. The sisters were crowned during the annual pageant on June 15, the fair’s opening night. This is the second consecutive year that sisters have won both titles. As Queen, Paige receives a $1,000 college scholarship, among other gifts, while Princess Julia receives gifts and a $100 scholarship.
The sisters, from Franklin Township, are the daughters of Stephen & Jill Wells. Queen Paige will be a senior at Butler University; Princess Julia is a sophomore at Franklin Central High School.
Other members of the 2018 Court are Desiree Lee Cowling, Marion County Fair Queen 1st Runner-Up; Jo Dee Lynch, Miss Congeniality, and Allison Brackin, Miss People’s Choice.
