A touching Memorial for the 50th anniversary of Senator Kennedy’s speech (Wed., April 4th) the evening that Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. There was standing room only in the gym inside CFI School #27 next to the Kennedy/King Memorial Park. The mayor, governor and many political and lay leaders were on hand to to speak about this historic event that kept Indianapolis calm, while the rest of the country experienced violence and riots.
