INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) recently announced a new partnership that will save the lives of hundreds of cats each year. On Friday, February 16th, 20 cats were transported to an SPCA rescue group in New York.
IACS takes in more than 14,000 animals each year. Most days, the number they take in far exceeds the number of animals that get adopted or rescued. As IACS continues to work to save some of the most abused, neglected and abandoned animals, pairing up with rescues outside of Indiana becomes even more important. This new partnership will lead to the beginning of a brighter future for the thousands of animals that come through our doors each year.
