INDIANAPOLIS – Thirty-four years after it was first seen on Broadway, Kander and Ebb’s Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical The Rink will get its first major Indianapolis production, running at Buck Creek Playhouse (11150 Southeastern Ave.) for a three-weekend run beginning Jan. 26. Directed and choreographed by D. Scott Robinson, with musical direction by Jill Stewart, the cast features Indianapolis favorites Georgeanna Teipen as tough-talking mother Anna Antonelli, and real-life daughter Miranda Nehrig as her defiant daughter Angel. Opening on Fri., Jan. 26, and continuing for three weekends through Sun., Feb. 11, curtain times are at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays. Admission is $20 for adults and $18 for children, students, and senior citizens (ages 62 and up).
