INDIANAPOLIS — Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB) announced that the Efroymson Family Fund has awarded KIB a $115,000 grant for beautification efforts, green initiatives, and programming.
The largest grant ever awarded to KIB by the Efroymson Family Fund will be used to support a variety of priority projects, including creating and maintaining greenspaces throughout the city. A portion of the grant will also serve as a gift matching opportunity to encourage residents throughout Indianapolis to join the Efroymson family this fall in supporting KIB’s mission to help people and nature thrive. Individuals’ contributions to KIB from now through the end of the year will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $40,000.
KIB has a number of programs planned for the fall that engage citizens in community beautification and environmental improvement to strengthen local neighborhoods. For more information on KIB’s community greening projects, or to volunteer for a project, please visit www.kibi.org.
