INDIANAPOLIS —On Wed., Sept. 6, the Indianapolis City Market, Noah’s Animal Hospitals, and Indianapolis Animal Care Services will hold the Sudsy Pups Dog Wash fundraiser during the Original Farmers’ Market.
The event will be held on City Market’s Whistler (west) Plaza between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to get your dog cleaned by volunteers. Noah’s Animal Hospitals, who is sponsoring the event, will be on hand to provide nail trimmings and some vaccinations. These vaccinations will include DA2PP, Bordetella and Lepto. Each dog washed will receive a free Noah’s dog bandana.
Dog washes will cost $10, nail trimmings will be $5, and the vaccinations will be $25 each; all proceeds will go to support Indy Animal Care Services. During the event IACS will have several of their adoptable dogs on site to interact with attendees.
At noon local dogs and their well known humans – such as Verzion IndyCar Series’ James Hinchcliffe and Charlie Kimball, and other local celebrities – will attend a special red carpet event on the Whistler Plaza, with canine focused prizes being raffled off immediately following.
Metazoa Brewing Company will hold a giveback night on Mon., Sept 4, from 6-9 p.m., with 10 percent of all pint and growler sales during that time directly to Indy Animal Care Services.
