INDIANAPOLIS — Irvington Green’s summertime meet and greet dot connector, ‘FRESH & LOCAL- FOOD’ happens Wed. Aug. 2 with Bookmamas and the Wednesday Fresh Market from 4 to 7 p.m. The Resilient Community series Meet & Greet includes growers, markets, initiatives, resource info and samples of fresh seasonal salsa & salad on the Bookmama’s walk, 9 S. Johnson. The Wednesday Fresh Market is right across the street in front of 10 Johnson coffee house with locally grown, seasonal goodies.
From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. talk and listen with neighbor garden project, program initiatives, & resource hosts Laura Hildreth, Spotts Garden, Growing Places, Bee Public on the 10 Johnson deck. Everyone is welcome to this free event.
