INDIANAPOLIS — The first annual Near East Music Festival at the Cottage Home Event Space, 714 N. Highland Ave., will be held on May 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks, beer, futsal tournament involving near east teams, games for kids, and local vendors and organizations. This event is open to all near east side communities and is free of charge.
The music lineup includes the Subplacements, Steven Jones Trio, the Knot Brothers, and Jeffrey Bowen. There will be an IMPD Roll Call at 1:30 p.m. Several teams will play futsal, with the championship presented at 5 p.m.
