IRVINGTON — The Irvington Volunteer Organizations are joining together to showcase the events and volunteer opportunities available within the community. There will be a meeting April 23 from 2-6 p.m. at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center, 5350 University Ave. for prospective volunteers.
Individuals, families, and business owners are invited to this informational meeting for several Irvington organizations. Representatives of Friends of Ellenberger, Friends of Irving Circle Park, Irvington Development Organization, Historic Irvington Community Council, Irvington Garden Club, Irvington Historical Society, and the Benton House will be on hand to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served.
