INDIANAPOLIS — Members of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) partnered with local organizers of the Urban Initiative to participate in High-5 Rally #7 at IPS School #14 on Nov. 14. Members of the department joined other members of the Indianapolis community to greet kids as they begin their school day.
Officers greeted students to show them that police officers do care and want them to understand the importance of getting a good education. Immediately after the rally members of IMPD participated in a brief forum to share words of encouragement to the students and faculty.
Several members of the IMPD’s Executive Staff and Command Staff attended, including Chief Riggs.
