INDIANAPOLIS — Community and Police in Partnership Against Crime (CAPPAC) will host a Near Eastside March and Candlelight Vigil against violence in the community on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.
The march begins at East 10th St. and Oxford St. and will proceed west to 10th an Jefferson. The prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m. at Jefferson and 10th.
Indianapolis Deputy Mayor Rev Dr David Hampton, City Council Vice President Zach Adamson, Near Eastside residents and IMPD and others will be on hand to show support for peace in the neighborhood.
Afterwards, there will be community fellowship and hotdogs & soft drinks at All That Jazz, 2127 E. 10th St.
