INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) is putting a positive spin on this year’s presidential campaign by adding their own “top dog” candidates to this election season. Three of ICAN’s dogs-in-training, Hunter, Truman and Dezzie (Desiree), launched their individual campaigns to raise funds for the organization.
Each service dog in training will represent three parties: the Labradarian Party, the Goldador Party and the Golden Party representing the dogs’ individual breeds. Each candidate will have a platform to bring awareness of the organization’s mission as well as highlight the people they serve. Each vote is $1.
ICAN will use the funds to support its mission; and train more service dogs for the 67 people on their wait list.
People can vote for their favorite candidate for a dollar a vote at www.icandog.org. Each dog, their staff, along with moving testimonials are listed on each candidates biography.
On-line voting will run until November 8, 2016.
