INDIANAPOLIS — Mutt Strut will be held on Sunday, May 15 in a new location, Indy’s historic Garfield Park. Mutt Strut is IndyHumane’s largest annual fundraiser, with a goal to raise $400,000 for the pets and programs at the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Each year, approximately 7,000 people and their pets attend Mutt Strut to share in the fun and excitement for the great cause of supporting Indiana’s largest nonprofit animal welfare organization.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been home to Mutt Strut for the past twelve years, and the decision to move away from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 2016 did not come easily. However, due to construction and upgrades at the IMS, it was decided that the Mutt Strut should move. No decisions have been made regarding Mutt Strut 2017, and IndyHumane’s events team will remain focused on plans for 2016.
Registration is now open at www.indymuttstrut.org. For questions regarding the 2016 event – including ways to participate, volunteer, or sponsor – please contact muttstrut@indyhumane.org or call (317) 875-MUTT.
