INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Parks offers a variety of camps across the city for all ages and interests, including specialty environmental education camps, creative arts camps, acting camp, therapeutic recreation camps, along with traditional day camps with swimming, crafts, games, sports and weekly themes. Early bird registration is open until March 31 to receive $10 off registration on traditional day camps. Day Camp registration will continue until camps are full.
Some of the highlighted camp experiences this year include:
• Garfield Park Arts Camp will inspire your child’s “inner-artist” with “Paint-a-Palooza” camp teaching basic painting skills with murals and games.
• Environmental Education Day Camps are offered at Eagle Creek, Holliday and Southeastway Parks. Choose from camps like “Trails and Tall Tales” and “Insect Safari,” “Slippery, Slimy Science” and “Strive to Survive” that challenge kids by navigating the forest to learning survival techniques and wilderness tips for outdoor adventure!
The 2016 Summer Day Camps Guide and Forms are available online at www.indy.gov/camps.
