94th Annual Indianapolis Home Show Jan. 22-31

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Home Show is the nation’s oldest and the Midwest’s largest home-focused extravaganza with more than 900 exhibit spaces. Now in its 94th year, the Home Show offers thousands of products, decorating, construction and remodeling ideas for visitors to gather and compare.
This year’s home show will run Jan. 22 through Jan. 31 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds – West Pavilion, Exposition Hall, and South Pavilion
Fischer Homes will build this year’s Centerpiece Home — a fully-constructed, decorated and landscaped home built entirely inside Expo Hall, showing the most current and exciting trends in architecture and style.
“Two Chicks and a Hammer” mother and daughter Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak are revitalizing their hometown of Indianapolis one property at a time, buying dilapidated homes and rehabbing them into stunning urban remodels and will appear at the Home Show Jan. 30 and Jan. 31. Other DIY celeb appearances include licensed contractor/realtor Matt Blashaw or “Yard Crashers,” Jan. 22, Jan. 23 and Jan. 24, “Curb Appeal”s John Gidding Jan. 29 and Jan. 30, and Leanne Lee of “Diva of DIY” on Jan. 26 and 27.
More than 25,000 square feet is dedicated to lavish featured gardens. The gardens will be designed and constructed by the area’s top landscape professionals.
As the Hoosier Gardener, Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp will show Home Show attendees how to put their green thumbs to work when she appears on Jan. 27 and Jan. 28.
Foodies will enjoy meeting Basilmomma, Heather Tallman, a food blogger, newspaper columnist, freelance writer and host of Around the Kitchen Sink Radio at the Home Show on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31. Loreal Gavin is the “butcher babe” from Indianapolis who chopped her way to being a finalist on Season 10 of the cooking competition show “Food Network Star” and will appear at the Home Show on Jan. 23, Jan. 24 and Jan. 25.
