• Big shout-out to the Scecina students who took part of the day to clean up East Washington St. between Sherman and Emerson. It is great to see young people doing positive things for our community! You guys made a real difference, and it was noted by many.
• A huge thank you goes out to this year’s Benton House Tour of Homes organizers. Big crowds came out on Sunday to get a peek at some great properties. Thanks go to all the homeowners and property owners who were gracious hosts. Organizers Elizabeth Wissel, Megan Krol, Todd Grooten, Linda Hudson, Sue Barnett, and Jasmin Snyder did a great job getting everything together. A special thanks go to Ann Shaver for putting together the beautiful, moving cemetery dedication on Sunday, and Steve Barnett for contributing the histories to participants. Our own Paula Nicewanger did a great job photographing, coordinating, and putting together the tour guide. Great job everyone!
