IRVINGTON — In conjunction with Indiana Humanities, IDO is hosting a block party of sorts along Pleasant Run on Sunday, August 9, noon to 4 p.m. to coincide with the Farmers’ Market in Ellenberger Park. The activities for the ALL-IN Irvington Pleasant Run FLOW will be along the Pleasant Run Parkway from Emerson Avenue to Arlington Avenue.
The event’s purpose is to raise awareness and, explore the habitat and needs of a natural community backbone: Irvington’s Pleasant Run. They will also celebrate the re-development of the Pleasant Run/Pennsy Trail extensions and sustainable possibilities along the Greenway.
For more information and to volunteer for the event, contact Patricia Waters, Event Coordinator, at 317-531-0688.
