INDIANAPOLIS — Marion County families may now submit applications for preschool education grants for the Indianapolis Preschool Scholarship Program (Indy PSP) and the State’s On My Way Pre-K program. Families will fill out a single application to apply for both programs. Applications are due April 30th.
Families must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply:
• The family must have an income below 185 percent of the federal poverty level;
• The family must reside in Marion County; and
• The child must be at least three, but younger than five years old by August 1, 2015.
Families may choose to send their child to any of the participating Indy PSP/On My Way Pre-k eligible providers. A list of participating providers is available at www.onmywayprek.org . Scholarships are limited, so eligible children may be entered into a lottery and families will be notified if they have received a scholarship in the first week of May.
Applications are available online, in print, and in Spanish. Families can receive individualized assistance by calling 1-800-299-1627 . For more information on this program and to apply, please visit www.indypsp.org.
