INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Repertory Theatre (IRT) thanks “local detectives” (police, firefighters and first responders) for their work in our local communities by hosting a contest prior to the opening of The Hound of the Baskervilles, which comes to the OneAmerica Mainstage on Feb. 18. The winner of the contest will win a row of seats to see The Hound of the Baskervilles and dinner provided by Punch Burger, for the officer and seven of his or her friends and family for the March 3 show only.
The community is invited to nominate officers who have inspired, mentored and/or protected our local communities by submitting the nominee’s photo, name, department and reason for nomination. All entries must include a photo, name, department and reason for nomination to be considered.
Nominations will be accepted through Feb 19 at 5 p.m. Nominations can be e-mailed to cholcomb@irtlive.com or via private Facebook message to Indiana Repertory Theatre.
Once nominations have been cast, the contest will take place via Facebook. Facebook users can “like” the officer’s photo they wish to win. The photo with the greatest number of likes by Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. will be named the winner. All police, firefighters and first responders who have or are currently serving our communities are eligible to win.
Additionally, the IRT offers a $10 discount to all police, firefighters and first responders for the entire run of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Discount can be redeemed online or by calling the ticket office at 317-635-5252 by using code: OFFICER.
