INDIANAPOLIS — CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Caregiver of the Year award. KIT Magazine is sponsoring a $500 cash award for this year’s award recipient. Each year, CICOA recognizes nonprofessional caregivers for their dedication to spouses, parents, children and other loved ones. Caregivers who live in Central Indiana and provide unpaid care for a family member or friend who is unable to take care of themselves for whatever reason are eligible for the 2015 Caregiver of the Year award.
Nominations will be accepted through February 6, 2015. Nominations forms are available at http://www.cicoa.org/services/careaware/caregiver-of-the-year-form.html. Entries may be submitted online to caregivers@cicoa.org or by mail (postmarked by February 6) to: Caregiver of the Year, CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions, 4755 Kingsway Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46205
Finalists will be notified by February 11, 2015. The top three finalists will be featured in the March/April issue of KIT Magazine and the Caregiver of the Year will be named at CICOA’s 6th annual Signature Breakfast on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana.
