COLTSTRONG, LIBRARYSTRONG II Contest at Library

INDIANAPOLIS — Children ages 6 – 17 are invited to use their Indianapolis Public Library cards for a chance to win an in-person visit from Indianapolis Colts players Andrew Luck and Dwayne Allen during the COLTSTRONG, LIBRARYSTRONG II contest continuing through December 31.
The contest is designed to raise awareness about the many benefits of using a Library card to take advantage of the free resources of the public library, which has become one of the players’ primary community endorsements since their arrival in Indianapolis in 2012. Any time young people use their Library card, they will be electronically entered for a chance to win a visit from Luck and Allen at an Indy Library branch of their choice that can be attended by 20 friends and family members. There is a limit of one entry per person, per day. A random drawing by computer will occur after January 1 with the winner notified on January 9.
A child’s own Library card must be used. Parents can register a child to receive a card at any Library location. Cards are issued on site upon completion of an application and presentation of valid identification and proof of residency and guardianship. Parents must sign the application for children under age 18. Children under age 6 are eligible for My First Library Card. Applicants can also fill out and print the Library card application using a PDF file on the Library’s website.
