Rachel Huggins and Boaz Fredrickson, members of the Southside Thunder Homeschool Soccer Team, received state all-star awards from the Indiana Homeschool Soccer Association. The awards were given after the Indiana Homeschool Soccer Championship Tournament held on Oct. 18 and 19 in Lawrence. The Southside Thunder’s Division 1 Boys’ Varsity and Girl’s teams both placed 3rd in the tournament. Boaz Fredrickson also received the National Homeschool Soccer all-star award, given at the national tournament. The National Homeschool Soccer Tournament was held in Evansville, Indiana on Oct. 24 and 25. The Thunder Placed 2nd in the Division 1 Boys Bronze group.
