INDIANAPOLIS — Coach Jim Mahin was honored during Nativity Catholic School’s homecoming festivities on Sun., Sept. 21. Jim started his coaching career for Nativity Catholic School in 1986, and coached for 28 consecutive years. He not only taught his players about the game of football, but also about life.
Jim has been a positive influence to hundreds of boys, helping them grow into fine young men of faith, and teaching them how to deal with adversity, competition, winning and losing. Jim coached several teams to the CYO City Championship, and won it three different times.
Jim had a large crowd of friends and family in attendance, and over 40 former players come out to show their appreciation for his years of dedicated service to the Nativity CYO football program.
