NEW PALESTINE — The New Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Independence Day Celebration on June 28 from 8:30 a.m. beginning with the Dragon Dash 5K Run/Walk, a car show, cloggers, a performance by the Hancock County Children’s Choir, and much more. The celebration will take place at New Palestine High School. Admission is free.
Come by and enjoy carnival games, food vendors, tethered balloon rides, a kid’s zone with chalk art, and a U.S. flag giveaway. Featured entertainment includes the J. Taylors at 8 p.m. until the fireworks begin at 10 p.m.
