INDIANAPOLIS — The inaugural Indy PopCon convention will be held May 30 – June 1 in the Indiana Convention Center. The convention is expected to draw 15,000 attendees over the three-day weekend and provide a strong economic impact to the city on what is traditionally a slow weekend after the Indianapolis 500.
PopCon will feature kid-focused exhibits, art classes, and workshops to teach them and their parents about the art, gaming, and comic book industries.
PopCon Indy PopCon is a popular culture and comic convention featuring celebrity guests, renowned comic artists, and media personalities. Some of the headliners include the “Seventh Doctor” Sylvester McCoy (Doctor Who), Kristian Nairn (Hodor, Game of Thrones), Ron Glass (Firefly), Rupert Boneham (Survivor), Esme Bianco (Ros, Game of Thrones), comic book artists, voice over artists, and many more will be coming to Indianapolis to sign autographs, interact with fans, and take in the city.
A 3-Day pass is $45, with day to day tickets $20 for Fri. and Sun. and $25 Sat. Photo op tickets are $30-$50. Tickets are available online at http://indypopcon.com
