INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Eleven and Big Car have created a neighborhood-themed Downtown recreational soccer league: Indy City Futbol presented by Indianapolis Downtown, Inc. Games will be played at White River State Park and neighborhood teams will compete for the Eskenazi Health Championship Trophy. Teams will be judged on wins and losses, but can earn additional points by volunteering or commuting together. Through May 28, players 18 and older may register for $25. Games will be played on Wednesdays June 4 – Aug. 20, with the champion crowned at the Indy Eleven game vs. Ottawa Fury FC Aug. 23. Visit www.indycityfutbol.com to sign up and get more information.
