INDIANAPOLIS — EclecticPond Theatre Company (ETC) is pleased to announce they were recently inducted into the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA), an organization that counts the Stratford Festival, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and Shakespeare’s Globe as members.
While their membership base spans the world, from companies with budgets that range in the millions to small non-profit companies like ETC, theirs is one of only a handful in Indiana to be recognized by STA.
Founded in 1991, STA began as a collection of artistic and managing directors of theatre companies, which predominantly produced works of Shakespeare, who wanted to share strategies and ideas and help keep the bard relevant in an ever-changing world.
