BEECH GROVE — On Saturday, April 19th the Beech Grove Promoters Club will have their Annual Cleanup Day in Beech Grove.
Beech Grove Mayor Dennis Buckley also declared the month of May as “Go Green Month” in the City of Beech Grove, encouraging students, schools, civic groups, local businesses, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, churches and private citizens to help clean up the city. Call 803-9111 to volunteer to clean up designated areas of the city as either an individual or as a group..
Over the summer, with the help of the Middle School Recycling Committee, they will begin to promote recycling at homes. The program is currently under development and by fall, they are planning on presenting another “Go Green” project to help keep Beech Grove beautiful.
