INDIANAPOLIS — Join more than 300 people at Neighbor Power! A Gathering to Inspire Greater Indy Neighborhoods on Saturday, October 12 to talk about ways you can team up to make our city an even better place to live, work, and play. The conference is for anybody interested in making Indianapolis a more vibrant and successful city.
The free gathering will take place on Oct. 12 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Marian University, 3200 Cold Spring Rd. and will include eleven customized workshops with topics around sustainability.
The event’s keynote speaker is 2004’s “Survivor: All-Stars” fan favorite, Rupert Boneham. He donated a portion of his winnings to his Indianapolis-based charity, Rupert’s Kids, which provides mentoring and job-training to at-risk youths. Following Rupert’s speech, Neighbor Power! will host an awards program to recognize people already accomplishing amazing things in our city-and you’re invited to join us.
