INDIANAPOLIS — In observance of their 125 years of serving the citizens of Indianapolis as a charitable public trust, Citizens Energy Group has lead the way by honoring local leaders that make positive change happen in the neighborhoods of Indianapolis. Awardees were recognized at a special event and ceremony to be conducted in the Brookside Park Auditorium June 4.
Citizens Energy Group worked closely with the Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center and the Peace Learning Center to help identify and choose these inspiring leaders for recognition. Recipients were awarded specially designed shirts, jackets, plaques and recognition by US Representative Andre Carson.
Eastside resident Rosemary Spalding was honored for all of her hard work for the Irvington community.
