INDIANAPOLIS This year the Indiana Artisan Marketplace (April 6-7 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds) will include the work and artists of VSA Indiana. An annual exhibition and sale of exceptional artwork and foods by the Indiana Artisans who make them, the Marketplace also will feature the artists, stories, and demonstrations from some of VSA Indiana’s emerging artists. The Marketplace features one-of-a-kind work by more than 150 artisans. Again this year, artists and foodists from Indiana and Kentucky will showcase art and food selected as being among the best in each state by food and art jury panels.
The Marketplace offers an opportunity to meet and talk with the artisans and to celebrate Indiana talent and creativity. It includes Indiana music, live art and craft demonstrations, statewide Artisan Trails to explore year-round, and food and drink tasting.
The Indiana Artisan Marketplace will be held April 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Expo Hall. Cost is $10 admission (all ages). For more information, visit www.IndianaArtisan.org.
