INDIANAPOLIS — The Public Safety Citizens Academy (PSCA) is a free, 10-week program in which community members can learn more about the work of Indy’s public safety agencies — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD), Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS), Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) and more. Participants get exciting behind-the-scenes education, training and experiences.
Admission to the PSCA is offered on a first come, first serve basis and typically, all seats fill up very quickly. Once you complete the application, you will be offered conditional admission within one week, with confirmed admission offered once a background check is complete. The PSCA will meet on Thursday evenings from Thurs. March 23 to Thurs. June 1. To submit your application today for this engaging and interactive, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/PSCA6. With any questions, feel free to e-mail dane@indypsf.org.
