INDIANAPOLIS — ArtMix will hold their annual Arts for All Fest on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 12-4 p.m. in their studios, located at the Harrison Center, 1505 N. Delaware St.
The schedule includes making clay items, mixed media, and much more. In the Speck Gallery, there will be lots of music all day long, with an eclectic line-up of different genres and instruments.
There will be tons of activities outside as well, including sidewalk chalk in the courtyard, tie-dye in the courtyard (you can bring your own items to tie-dye, as long as they are white and cotton), coloring pages on the front court, the Book Fairy bookmobile on Delaware, BB&B Food Truck on Delaware Street )first 125 guests will receive a ticket for a free box of food), free snacks available in Speck Gallery, and dancing in the courtyard. Howdy Homemade Ice Cream handing out free samples in the courtyard while supplies last.
You can also visit the exhibitors in the Speck Gallery, including B Above Autism Services, Best Buddies Indiana, Down Syndrome Indiana, Peace UCC, Indiana Family to Family, Magical Moments ABA, Seeds of Caring, Tangra, The Arc of Indiana, The Children’s Museum. and The Hope Gallery.
Upon check-in, all guests will receive an Arts for All Fest Passport with these organizations listed. If guests visit and get a sticker from all organizations and turn their passport back into the check-in table, they can claim a prize.
ArtMix is a non-for-profit that works to transform the lives of people with disabilities through the arts. They increase awareness of the barriers in society that limit people with disabilities. On First Friday events, they sell the works of the students at the gallery.
