INDIANA — The state of Indiana reports that COVID-19 vaccinations have plateaued in July, and that 43% of the population is fully vaccinated. However, cases of COVID-19 infection have been rising statewide since the end of June.
In Marion County, 20-29 year-olds are showing the most positive cases. This is also the age group less likely to be fully vaccinated.
The most prevalent variant of COVID-19 in new positive cases is the Delta variant, with 74% of samples showing Delta in July.

According to local health rules, all unvaccinated individuals are required to continue to wear face masks and practice social distancing when in indoor public places.
