Indianapolis Home Show Opens for its 102nd Year

INDIANAPOLIS — Back for its 102nd year, the Indianapolis Home Show is an Indiana tradition and the oldest home show in North America, offering the latest in decorating, landscaping, construction and remodeling ideas. Visitors to the Indianapolis Home Show can talk to hundreds of home and décor experts for advice and explore thousands of the newest home products. It’s a must-attend event!
The Indianapolis Home Show will run for 10 days, from Friday, Jan. 19 through Sunday, Jan. 28 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center – West Pavilion, Exposition Hall, 1202 E. 38th St.
The big draw for the show is this year’s Centerpiece Home, a structure built entirely inside Exposition Hall. This year, Davis Homes showcases its Eastland floor plan, a Craftsman-style ranch home highlighting earthy elegance. The Craftsman style was widespread from 1900 to about 1929, and is enjoying a resurgence in interest by today’s architects.
Celebrity real estate consultants and twin sisters Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb from the HGTV show “Unsellable Houses” will be on hand Friday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, Jan. 20 with helpful insights into making smart renovations to sell your home. In addition, Magnolia Network Host Jeff Devlin will appear on Friday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 27 with information on doing repairs the right way.
Local interior designer Nina Klemm will showcase “Sleek by Nina K,” her unique interior design brand. Nina will show off the latest trends for interior design and home décor in a custom designer room from her brand, Sleek by Nina K. at the Home Show.
Stages throughout the show will be busy with help and ideas about home renovation, landscape trends, and much more.
The Indianapolis Home Show will be open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $15 per adult, and $3 for children ages 6-12. There is also a parking charge of $10 per vehicle.
