INDIANA — Indiana state officials recently announced that 2021 marked the fifth consecutive year of record-breaking economic development in Indiana. Nearly 300 companies have committed to locate and expandinthe state, investing more than $8.7 billion in operations, a 56% increase from 2020.
In addition to the positive business development news, the state of Indiana set the lowest all-time unemployment rates in the country for December 2021, with a rate of 2.7%. The national unemployment rate stands at 3.9%, In Indiana, gains were seen across all industries and sectors of the economy.
