INDIANAPOLIS — Early voting for the mid-term election begins on Oct. 6 at the City-County Building, 200 E. Washington St. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. Other sites will be added later in the month.
Please check on your voter registration status online at IndianaVoters.IN.gov before you go to the polls. You can also update your registration if you have moved since the last election.
If you can’t vote at your polling place on Election Day, Indiana offers several absentee voting options:
• Absentee-by-Mail: Request a ballot to be mailed to you if you meet certain eligibility reasons, such as being out of the county on Election Day, having a disability, or being 65 or older. Once completed, the ballot must be returned by the required deadline.
• Travel Board Voting: For voters who cannot leave their residence due to illness, disability, or caregiving responsibilities. A bipartisan team can bring a ballot directly to the voter.
Visit https://www.in.gov/sos/elections/ for more information. The mid-term elections will be held Nov. 3.
